Mariupol – beginning of September, 2014

On August 28, 2014 Novoazovsk (small city located in 40 km from Mariupol near Ukrainian-Russian border) was captured by Russian special forces and pro-Russian rebels. Since then Mariupol citizens lived under the threat of invasion. But life was going on – children went to the schools, people walked in the parks, had rest on the beach, got married, organized meeting against Russian aggression, soldiers defended neighborhood of the city. But most at night they heard sounds of mines and shells explosions.
